Summary: Responsible for the recovery efforts for consumer installment and commercial loan department accounts. Handles the collection of all consumer installments, checking charge offs, and commercial loan accounts. Performs collection efforts by telephone, letters, and personal contacts with customers at business or residence. Has authority to turn P & L accounts over to collection agency or attorneys. Keep files and follow-up with attorney on all accounts. Works out payment plans to help get past due accounts current. Repossesses collateral when necessary. Provide quality service to customers and employees of MidSouth Bank . Job requires judgment, tact, and perseverance. Works under close supervision. Qualifications: ü 1-2 years prior collections experience required
