About the opportunity: EMSI’s Litigation Services Division is seeking part-time Caseworkers who can excel in a fast-paced, call center environment. We are looking for team players with a positive and energetic attitude. Hours for these part-time opportunities are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus an occasional Saturday or Sunday as business needs demand. The Caseworker is responsible for con tacting medical facilities and other record custodians by phone to obtain copies of various types of documents to be used in litigation. R esponsibilities: Contact medical providers/facilities Negotiate fees Maintain current status information in proprietary system Benefits: Available accident and sickness coverage benefits Available in-hospital plan Skills/Experience ( Required): Excellent written communication skills Ability to learn quickly and apply acquired knowledge Attention to detail Excellent attendance and work record Working knowledge of MS Office Ability to work an occasional Sunday Skills/Experience ( Desired): L itigation, call center, medical office, basic office or litigation experience Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred T alents: Highest level of integrity Commitment to excellence Detail oriented Team player EMSI is proud to be an EEO-AA employer M/F/D/V and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace
