Description: The Collection Specialist will be responsible for the rapid collection of outstanding client balances. Essential Duties: ·         Rapid collection of outstanding client balances resulting from an NSF (Non Sufficient Funds). ·         Make calls to past due accounts, work with other company offices in resolving client receivables, take timely action to ensure collection of accounts. ·         Monitor outstanding accounts from multiple system applications. ·         Post ACH deposits daily, data entry of all credits and debits into payroll system. ·         Research and provide documentation as needed to aid in collection of past due ACH accounts using payroll, tax, accounting and reporting systems. ·         Update and maintain daily and monthly logs of collection items. ·         Other duties may be assigned by the Treasury Manager from time to time to meet Departmental needs.   ·         Occasional overtime may be required. Requirements:   1-3 years of collection experience Commercial collection highly desirable Payroll experience a plus, but not required Excellent customer service Good computer and reporting skills Strong verbal communication skills Ability to work well independently Ability to multi-task and problem solve.    ACH or banking experience extremely desirable.         .
