Bonnier Corporation, one of the largest consumer-publishing companies in America, is seeking an  Executive Assistant to provide general administrative assistance to the VP of Publishing Lifestyle & Travel, Group Publisher ( Islands and RGH), National Travel/Lifestyle Sales Director, and other staff as needed. The Executive Assistant works directly with the VP of Publishing to help maintain a professional working environment by assisting our Publishers, customers, vendors and any individuals contacting the company. This person in responsible for maintaining a working schedule for the VP Publishing. The Executive Assistant is required to perform all the general duties of a sales assistance, but is capable to make decisions that support the general ideals that the VP Publishing has established. Responsibilities:   Prepare proposals, letters, mailings and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Including the following: Ranking Reports Ranked by Dollars Report Sales Reports Sales History Reports Publications Comparison Report Key Account Targets w/in Key Segments Publication category analysis Publications Forecasts Competitive Analysis Sales Projections Advertising Issue Report Generate other reports as may be required on demand. Have a solid working knowledge of the companies MSG, and e-basket programs and be able to pull and modify reports from these systems. Provide administrative support to Publisher(s) and sales reps designed to enhance their selling time in front of customer.  Assistant will assist in the preparation of client presentation and proposals as directed by the National Lifestyle and Travel sales staff.  Executive assistant will maintain clipping files of editorial coverage by title and advertiser.  Assistant will manage process for customer additions and maintenance of single and multiple edition(s) of complimentary subscription requests. Skills: Assistant will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Executive Assistant will be proficient in other programs as employed by the group including MSG, E-Baskit and Contact Management.  Executive Assistant should be comfortable in a fast paced environment and able to manage several projects simultaneously.  Executive Assistant should be able to work independently and proactively to accomplish tasks from inception to completion with minimal direction.  Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years full-time work experience, ideally in publishing or advertising. Must be extremely well organized and detail oriented. Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be proactive and excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Must have excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
