Position Title: TURNDOWN ATTENDANT Description: Department: Housekeeping Position: Part Time - 4:00pm - 9:00pm Shift; Weekends Required Job Overview: Clean guest rooms as assigned ensuring the hotel’s established standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest’s requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. Reports To: Executive Housekeeper Key Relationships: Internal: Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor(s), Front Desk Staff and Maintenance. External: Hotel guests/visitors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintains guest rooms in a clean, comfortable and saleable condition. 2. Turns down bed according to Hotel Angeleno standards. 3. Provides second daily Housekeeping service to all occupied guest rooms. 4. Provides ice in ice bucket. 5. Responds to guest request for housekeeping services. 6. Identifies and reports all maintenance issues. 7. Ensures economical and safe use of supplies and equipment. 8. Upholds all safety standards of Hotel Angeleno and Joie de Vivre Hospitality. 9. Is able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. 10. Is able to stand/walk up to 5 hours per day. 11. Is a team player and interacts with all guests and fellow associates in a positive and friendly manner.
