Set your sights high at Oberon Associates. Oberon is seeking a Data Architect to participate in a broad range of data management activities and deliverables as defined by the Enterprise Data Management Vision, including but not limited to: Guide project teams in enterprise data and information architecture, including data access and delivery for both operational and analytical purposes. Development of data management processes, policies and standards. Communication of data management processes, policies and standards to IT and mission/business audiences. Development and delivery of data management process, policy and standard training to IT and mission/business audiences. Development of conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional data models both at the enterprise and project level. Collection and management of metadata. Perform data quality analysis and improvement. Development of data management performance goals and metrics. Evaluation and selection of various data management tools. Develop data mappings for ETL processing Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems. 5 - 10 years experience in various data management roles. Expert in developing conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional data models. Trained and experienced in multiple data management and system development methodologies, techniques and tools. Knowledgeable in all aspects of designing and constructing information architectures that enable operational use as well as analytical inquiry of well-integrated, subject-oriented data (data warehouse). Ability to communicate data management concepts and processes to both technical and business audiences. Experienced with a variety of data modeling and data management toolsets such as ERwin, CA Repository, Evoke, IBM Information Server, Informatica, etc. Ability to play a visionary role. Knowledgeable of data integration (ETL) tools and techniques. Desired Qualifications: Government experience preferred. Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) Data Reference Model (DRM) implementation experience. National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) experience is a plus. ERwin data modeling preferred.
