Title: Sr. Java Developer Location: DTC Compensation: Base salary + Bonus + Great Benefits Position: The position will code various backend B2B web applications for the energy industry. Websphere will be implemented over the next 6-9 months, so previous Websphere exp is nice to have but not mandatory. Bowstreet is the selected portal development tool targeted to build the portal. Portal administration and development is nice to have but not mandatory. Qualifications: Individual must have strong, recent hands-on experience with the following: Java: JSP: Struts: HTML: JavaScript: SQL. War creation and deployment of web applications. MVC pattern. Additional experience that would be considered extremely valuable. Bowtreet Portlet Factory. Linux/Unix - basic understanding of the OS. Ability to work in a shell. LDAP / e-directory. Project Management ANT Lotus Notes Single Sign On - especially from WebSphere Portal. WebServers - exposure to Websphere ,Apache, Tomcat. Portals - Work with portlets within any Portal especially Websphere - Any administration work within Websphere Portal. DB/2 - and/or exposure to several variations of relational databases. PL/SQL skills - creation of stored procedures complex queries/updates. RPG Iseries (as400) Other Mainframe OSs. IDEs: Eclipse WSAD / RAD6. Other skills that would be nice to have: Websphere Portal exp in nice to have, Websphere Administration & Development exp is nice to have, Bowstreet (portal tool) tool set exp is nice to have.
