Job Title: IT Unix Systems Admin Location: Broomfield, CO Type: Full Time Compensation: DOE + Benefits Description: Database Administration of a Solaris System, must be able to perform Unix Scripting and perform monitoring and tuning of Unix box Requirements: Candidates must have over 3 years of Progress OpenEdge 10.1b and Sun Solaris System Administration experience. Experience with OpenEdge Database, Application and Webspeed servers required. System Administration experience with Solaris 10, Solaris Zones required. Experience with Progress OpenEdge Administration suite and Fathom Replication required. Experience with Sun T1000, T2000 and Sun Storage Arrays preferred. The selected candidate will be responsible for administering, managing and tuning all tiers of a production e-commerce application running on Progress OpenEdge and Solaris 10. Tasks include scripting, backup, recovery, patching, performance monitoring and tuning. The selected candidate will work closely with members of the database, security, web and network teams.
