In this position, you will work with the information services team that oversees a highly diverse portfolio of applications in our ERP system, SAP. This system serves all branches of the business, including refining, the marketing of all of our energy products, terminal operations, finance, and other smaller branches of the Corporation. You will participate as an active team member in the design, management, and implementation of modules in SAP, as well as other financial systems, all manors of reporting systems, data acquisition systems and web based reporting tools. Specific projects could include: - Business and system process mapping - Exposure to the Cognos and Bex reporting tools for SAP business warehouse - Working closely with the Center of Excellence and Financial teams to solve business problems - Technical documentation - Reporting systems As a summer intern, you will also participate in the 2008 Hess Internship Program that will expose you to different facets of the company, supporting your personal and professional development Requirements: Computer Science Major required. Excellent communication and writing skills required Knowledge/experience in business process design and mapping is a plus Experience with any ERP system including SAP, Oracle Financials, or other similar types of ERP systems is a plus EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER, M/F/D/V
