In this position, you will work with the information services team that oversees a highly diverse portfolio of applications in refinery and terminal systems. You will participate as an active team member in the design, management, and implementation of terminal management systems, environmental reporting systems, data acquisition systems and web based technology solutions. You will also have exposure to refinery control and financial systems. Specific projects could include: - .NET and web development - Business and system process mapping - Database design and development - Technical documentation - Reporting systems As a summer intern, you will also participate in the 2008 Hess Internship Program that will expose you to different facets of the company, supporting your personal and professional development Requirements: Computer Science Major required. Knowledge of HTML, SQL Server and web-based tools required. Experience with supporting and creating applications in a Windows XP/Vista desktop environment, using Microsoft SQL Server 2005, ASP.NET 2.0 (Visual Basic .NET) helpful.
