  Direct Sales/Client Services teams work with direct advertisers who run their campaigns in the Adknowledge Network through our proprietary BidSystem Interface. Advertising is delivered though a number of different channels including; behavio ra lly targeted permission based email, search engine partners, email taglines and social media. Ove ra ll, Direct Sales/Client Services manages thousands of campaigns for hundreds of advertisers in over 1200 categories across 5 channels.   Team   The Vice President of Sales manages all the inside and field sales groups as well as the Client Services department. Prior to joining Adknowledge, the Vice President of Sales was at Yahoo Search Marketing where he managed all the West Coast advertising sales initiatives.   The Manager of Client Services is responsible for a team of Account Managers that assist direct advertisers with their campaigns run through the bidsystem.   Prior to joining Adknowledge he worked with Flipside, a Havas Inte ra ctive company, in various national sales roles.     Position Overview Adknowledge’s Inside Sales Account Executives are primarily responsible for closing new business with key pay-per-click agencies, direct advertisers and closing specific target advertisers. T he Inside Sales Account Executives will have the following primary duties:   1.       Contacting assigned Advertiser prospects with the objective of finding the decision maker and obtaining agreement to run advertising on Adknowledge network.   The Inside Sales Account Executive will also be responsible for insuring a successful handoff of the relationship to the Account Management team.     2.       To insure success of the advertiser campaign, the Inside Sales Account Executive will also be responsible for obtaining an agreement from the assigned prospects to install tracking pixels, and potential integration with the Adknowledge API.   3.       Additional duties may include representing Adknowledge at Marketing expos, and other duties that may be required.       Candidate Overview The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:   ·         At least two to five (2-5) years business to business sales experience with at least 1 year in advertising/internet sales ·         Online advertising or search marketing experience a MUST ·         Must have effective telephone presentation skills, excellent written communication skills, and a proven ability to sell on the phone.     The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:   Intelligence: Acquires understanding and absorbs new information quickly and is motivated to learn. Customer Focus: Provides satisfaction for both internal and external customers and creates partner relationships. Entrepreneurial : Resourceful, figure-it-out-and-get-it-done mentality, and a track record of creating successful technology organizations and companies without the resources, brand and reputation of a large entity. Passion for Technology:   Getting hands-on with cutting-edge technologies and apply them to solve real-world problems must intrigue and excite the candidate.   Education BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field.   Equivalent work experience & knowledge also acceptable.
