FOCUS List Management provides technology and services to email publishers that enable them to deliver highly-targeted advertisements to their users. Adknowledge anonymously tracks behaviors on over 400M unique email users. Through its extensive client base, Adknowledge has reach to an estimated 60% of US B2C email users. POSITION OVERVIEW The Delivery Engineer is responsible for optimizing the mailing systems for specific inbox providers in an effort to improve inbox delivery and will have the following primary duties: ISP Relations : Improve inbox delivery in a manner that is sustainable, scaleable and fits the overall company goals. Establish a technical “best practices” that will work within our business model and comply with various whitelists and feedback loops. Mailing Development: Liaison between the business end of list management and the operations. Will work independently and in conjunction with Adknowledge EASP developers. Creative Development: Will provide guidance to creative team related to html and structure of the creative as it relates to delivery. Additional duties include: · Develop tests, track performance, document results and creative actionable items to improve delivery. · Attends conferences and industry events operations of the email sender community. · Works with the Delivery Strategist to outline long-term plans for managing whitelist, feedback loops, volume settings and other process. CANDIDATE OVERVIEW The successful candidate will be effective at setting priorities based on the needs of the business with at least: · Two years experience with a major MTA. · Two years of outbound SMTP experience. · Working knowledge of various scripting languages such as Perl. · Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel in particular. · Strong project-management skills with a track record for deliverability. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities: Creativity: Generates new approaches to problems and innovates established approaches.
