POSITION: Field TRAILER MAINTENANCE Supervisor CLASSIFICATION: Hourly DEPARTMENT/GROUP: Branch Operations REPORTS TO: Branch Manager Construction Protective Services JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Branch Manager, performs a wide range of difficult to complex administrative and operational activities related Trailer Maintenance operations. Serves to support various departments within the organization. Most importantly, to ensure all elements of a trailer set-up are delivered according to policy and that each site is presentable and looks fantastic. To apply for this position you must follow this link: http://tbe.taleo.net/NA7/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=CPS&cws=1&rid=117 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ( Not limited to) -Oversees and advises all Trailer Maintenance personnel in the Branch -Coordinates with Transportation Department all Trailer, Vehicle, & Equipment movement between Branches. - Inspects various Trailer sites to insure all are being set-up and maintained correctly. - Assists Branch operations in the hiring and training of new maintenance personnel - Commu nicates with all Branch Management and Transportation Department to insure all Branch Trailer needs are being met. -Oversees the maintaining of inventory, to include the ordering of alarm equipment, and Trailers. -Produces and maintains a daily inspection log, and equipment inventory. - Makes inspections of Trailer sites as described in the minimum inspection checklist. - Conducts initial OJT for all new Trailer Maintenance Personnel in the field. -Participates with evaluations for Trailer & Yard Maintenance Personnel. - Handles performance and disciplinary issues with the Maintenance employee: Conducts risk assessment investigations on all incidents that might result in a loss being claimed against the company. - Completes new Trailer account site surveys and reports findings to operations management. - May suspend/not terminate Maintenance Personnel for disciplinary issues -Is well versed in the use off Microsoft Outlook (Generating and receiving e-mail) - Reviews On Call Logs and takes appropriate actions to resolve any pending issues.
