If you do, the informational graphic designer position at DivX may be right for you. We’re currently looking for an informational graphic designer to join our team of focused creative types, including specialists in print, motion graphics, Flash and web design to evangelize the new DivX brand. This is a creative environment with opportunities to experiment and grow. Even with your main focus on PowerPoint presentations and help with graphic asset production, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of creative projects and fun activities at DivX. THE EVERYDAY VIEW The informational graphic designer responsibilities may include conceptualization through final design of projects including PowerPoint presentations, collateral for trade shows, promotional banners, HTML emails, multimedia elements using Flash and other marketing materials. This position reports to our art director and requires a strong sense of layout, design talent and the ability to execute. Some of the skills we’re looking for include: 3 or more years of professional experience as a designer with a portfolio that includes informational graphics and presentations layouts Strong production skills background Good typography and text layout skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize Ability to work in a deadline-driven, team environment Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint (especially PowerPoint) Flash experience is a plus ABOUT DIVX DivX is a community rich with culture and informed by creativity, intelligence and passion for all that is possible with digital media.
