PopCap marketing provides global marketing leadership, strategies and program implementation for the entire array of PopCap products, distribution platforms and geographies. PopCap Marketing includes on-line and print services, PopCap.com program management, online marketing, advertising, PR, brand management, market research, customer support and the responsibility for worldwide marketing programs. Where do you fit in to PopCap? We are looking for an entrepreneurial and results-oriented senior product marketing manager to take a cross-functional leadership role to create, improve and deliver marketing materials and programs. Yes, that’s right it’s the whole enchilada, not simply a stray Chihuahua. This is a highly visible position that includes development of strategies that have substantial financial impact. This role provides significant professional development and excellent growth potential for the right individual. This is the first product marketing position at PopCap (true but little-known fact). This person will also be responsible for defining and creating PopCap product marketing. Our measurement of success is to delight our customers with the highest quality fun in the casual games industry bar none: The Product Marketing Manager must understand, embrace and execute on that vision with every decision. We are seeking an experienced product marketing manager who is passionate about casual games and expanding the market. Work with the staff of highly talented marketing, product management and business development professionals to shape business strategy and drive customer messaging. Join the team that is helping to redefine the way casual games are marketed and delivered around the world. Develop and drive the overall PopCap games go-to-market strategy. Personality: Fun Highly creative Ambitious, visionary and entrepreneurial drive Works outside of the box Matrix friendly – ability to seamlessly work across teams The ability to work well and confidently under pressure Demonstrate leadership skills, be highly organized and have the ability to juggle multiple projects. Marketing experience Required: 6 years+ of product marketing experience Superb written and oral communications skills Strong prioritization skills Proven ability to collaboratively work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives by inspiring and leading multidiscipline teams Ability to present business, marketing and product strategies internally and externally Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics Skilled at competitive analyses and market segmentation Ability to prioritize and set consistent strategic direction and strategies for customer acquisition and retention Developing marketing strategies Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market Experience developing and implementing marketing programs, positioning & messaging, naming, and collateral for new and existing products Defining and realizing customer communications strategy Preference for deep games experience and specifically casual games experience BA in Business or equivalent; MBA a plus. The Senior Product Marketing Wardrobe Product evangelist Voice of the Customer Strong spokesperson for press, analyst and customer engagements Support the needs of a seasoned Business Development organization Monitor customer loyalty, retention and acquisition trends Evaluate ROI of marketing campaigns and manage expenses to a budget Cover the spectrum of PopCap game platforms from PC download, web online, PC retail, mobile and video game devices Worldwide perspective How will the candidate be measured?
