Our Exciting Opportunity:

Our team in Plano, TX is looking for a Cloud Specialist to align and help deliver end to end cloud services within Ericsson to internal partners, using Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web services and Microsoft Azure.


You will:

  • Work with clients to bridge technology solutions using our cloud and hyperscaler solutions to fully integrate the customers requirements

  • Propose suggestions and standard methodologies to optimize customers’ cloud presence, performance, security, and cost

  • Evaluation of technical risks and mapping of mitigation strategies, cloud applications, hardware, and software at regular intervals

  • Facilitate debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and unit testing of custom solutions built on the organizations platform

  • Develop new specs, documentation; and partake in the development of technical procedures and user support guides

  • Responsible for the communication of well-informed cloud strategy and coordinate the adaption process

  • Engaged in cloud systems and work closely with IT security to review cloud privacy and provide timely response to technical issues in a professional manner

  • Direct infrastructure movement procedure, including bulk application transfers into the cloud environment


To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Bachelors degree in information technology or other similar degree field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with and governing cloud products

  • Ability to sell and engage with partners

  • Must be proficient in understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and virtualization

  • Exposure to security and compliance and expertise in data center management and data governance, knowledge of standards such as SOX, ISO

  • Experience using ticketing systems such as Jira, Remedy or Service Now
