Child Psychologist 10 FTE Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group Job at SCRD

Summary Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a Full Time 1.0 FTE Child Psychologist to join our Capitol Hill Campus team in Seattle, Washington. The team is comprised of 1 part time psychologist, 1 neuropsychologist, 7 psychiatrists, 9 masters level therapists and LICSWs, and an RN. Capitol Hill Medical Center is Kaiser Permanente Washingtons flagship campus and includes: Primary Care, Specialty, Surgical services, Behavioral Health, Eye Care, Occupational Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Work Services, and an Urgent Care center. Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology on site. Office hours are 8am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have experience with psychological testing and mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment for children and adolescents presenting with for broad range of mental health needs, including mood, anxiety, behavior disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood. Responsibilities would include conducting psychological assessments (test administration & interpretation), as well as providing outpatient psychotherapy to individual child and adolescent patients and their families. The candidate should have skills in psychological testing, cognitive therapies (CBT or ACT or DBT), behavioral therapies as well as parent management strategies. Experience in working with kids on the spectrum and substance use disorders is a plus.
