Program Management - APAC Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst JPMorgan Job at NABA


Singapore, Singapore, CIB Governance & Program Management APAC Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst will participate in our APAC Regulatory Strategy initiative to drive efficiencies and consistency globally. Asia Regulatory Reporting is a rapidly evolving environment with change through mandatory regulatory reporting requirements, application enhancements & technical change, data enrichment and support for JPM line of business development projects. In partnership with the APAC Senior Financial Officer (SFO), Legal Entity Controller (LEC) and Corporate Technology (CT) teams, we have successfully automated majority of APAC BASEL and Local Regulatory Reporting systems. This includes Australia, China, Hong Kong, India (including Basel III), Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. CIB Governance & Program Management APAC Regulatory Reporting team provides opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to: Develop an appreciation of the regulatory banking and security regime in Asia Develop knowledge around SAP ledger and various product systems integration with BASEL / LRR systems Develop project management, agile implementation skill sets Strengthen ones influencing, problem solving, multi-tasking, and relationship management skill sets that are critical in building an all rounded individual Responsibilities: Partner closely with Finance users, Corporate Technology (CT) & external vendor consultants to deliver these strategic regulatory reporting solutions Provide SME & PMO support to these programs Partner with Finance stakeholders to define statement of work; including objectives, scope, timeline, dependency, risks, priorities, governance model and agile sprint plan Gather, validate, defining gap/impact analysis, drafting business requirements/users story, testing, project variation and future operating model documents for regulatory projects Be a product owner, work closely with CT-scrum master and teams, participate in design/build discussions Identify areas of improvements, brainstorm and propose solutions to address issues, concerns Perform Product Validation/Proof of Concept, in partnership with Finance users, CT & external vendor Provide guidance, participate and support CT & Finance users throughout the testing and implementation phase Provide continuous improvement opportunities through identifying best practices in processes/systems/reference data Manages ongoing tactical & strategic finance platform enhancements and automations Qualifications: University Degree with Accountancy. Chartered Accountant is a must. Minimum 5 years working experience with 1 year minimum in the banking industry Minimum 1 year working experience in a Business Analyst / Product Owner experience in Local Regulatory Reporting Solution Implementation type of role is a must We e a global company whose primary business language is English and so fluency in English is required Project Management Professional will be an advantage Knowledge of Corporate Investment Banking Products Knowledge and experience of industry leading regulatory reporting environment, requirements & vendor packages (e.g. Axiom) Experience in agile implementation methodology, checking regulatory reports and performing regression testing. Be able to track requirements/users stories, testing tasks/issues via Confluence and Jira is a bonus. Ability to chair/participate in daily stand-up / prioritization call with Finance users & CT Ability to gather complex business and functional requirements for technology. Work independently, ability to multi-task, strong analytical skills, logical thinker with attention to detail Excellent written skills with clear, concise, logical documentation, organization & planning skills Strong communication skills in negotiation, influence and relationship management Creative problem solving and business process reengineering skills Team player, ability to work with colleagues in an inclusive and collaborative manner Support different time zones across APAC, EMEA and/or liaise with interdependent teams in the US
